i went out with this precious duo this weekend to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens. WHAT a gorgeous place! and this little session was for some easter pictures (cue whole carrots! cute!) and mommy-daughter pictures before this little one's new baby sibling is born. don't they look sweet? this is one of those sessions that i want to post all black-and-white's because the setting is so lovely that you don't even need to use color. i love it and i hope you do, too!

we took genevieve out for a few irish-inspired pictures this afternoon in honor of st. patrick's day. at first i was going to take her out with those big dorky green hats and shamrocks, with golden chocolate coins covering the floor, but then i decided i wanted something a little more ethereal that spoke more of where she got those red curls and why her skin is such a dreamy white. i hope you like this bunch. one of them will be going up on my wall as a nice, big 11x14 wrapped canvas!



and just in case you're getting any ideas about my child being perfectly well-behaved for our sessions, let me nip that in the bud! ;) it was not all fun and games. i have a very strong-willed (irish) child on my hands and she's not afraid to pitch a fit haha.
